① memo 20190304 ~ Cinéroman ~ Did a little research : The Société des Cinéromans was a French film production company of the silent movie era.
The Society of Cinemomans gave a new breath to the the episode film through romantic adaptations. The narrative of the films appears in serials in the daily newspapers like the Le Petit Parisien, accompanying the projection of the episodes of the film in theaters. The company was taken over by Pathé in 1922. Here a poster of the 1923 cinéroman VIDOCQ – Grand Film en 10 Épisodes – in the Vidocq restaurant last weekend in Gouda , Holland .
