Another octopus encounter – a young one – this year underwater in the Corfu Channel – between the Adriatic Sea and the Ionian Sea , an embayment of the Mediterranean Sea – Corfu, Ionian Islands, Greece, June 2024.

In the second half of this film feint attacks are made with the little Go3 camera on a monopod, where the octopus withdraws its arms, or extends its arms when the camera comes too close.

Uploaded yesterday’s HDR video (Traditional Fishing Corfu | 20240701) at 1memo.substack.com .
The HDR file is converted to SDR at Substack OK … less saturated, though, compared to the outcome after uploading a SDR edition (an edition created by Vimeo from my HDR upload at my Vimeo channel).
For comparison the Vimeo video is embedded too at Substack… (HDR only shows at HDR-compatible screens, on conventional screens Vimeo is displaying the SDR edition).
