TECH NOTE (test review):
iPhone 12 Pro Max – Standard wide lens | Camera Settings : Dolby Vision HDR 4K 60 fps / Auto FPS (Max 60 fps, 440 MB/min). This camera file resulting in : 60 fps 55,11 Mbit/s.
Quality better I guess than what I used standard untill recently for settings 25 fps , Max 190 MB/min. FCP project 4K 60 fps Rec. 2020 HLG.
Export for Apple devices 10 bit Rec. 2020 HLG HEVC automatic framerate Encoder type ‘Faster’ – that is forcing hardware encoding M1 – bit rate (not automatic) max 50,000 kbps, now resulting in final export file 30 fps , 50 Mbit/s.
Traffic at sunset – 10 pm – around Alphen. According to molenberaad•nl another road is planned by the South-Holland province some 100-200 meter in the back, then we have surround sound here in these young woods – Bentwoud – finished a few years ago in the Green Heart of Holland.
Sunset around Alphen (Boskoop) in the Green Heart of Holland.
Tech Note : Up to now I was using 25 fps (4K smart HDR) on the iPhone 12 pro max. First test here with settings 60 fps plus auto-FPS reduction, which resulted here in an around 32 fps recording with 25 Mbits/s file saving. First clip with wide lens, next the tele lens and some 20 meters closer. (NB The 25 fps setting saves with 21 Mbit/s)
