① memo 20161231 ~ Brandaris ~ The Brandaris lighthouse (1594) on the dutch Wadden Sea island Terschelling , last christmas eve. The first Brandaris was built in 1323, but collapsed around 1570 when the sea ate away that part of the slowly shifting island, and next this one was opened 1594.
