Shifting a white card partly in the image automatically corrects the Auto White Balance in the Apple camera app on the iPhone.
Note also , that locking the AE/AF (autoexposure and autofocus) also locks the auto white balance (AWB) – this locking of the AWB is not shown in this demo video.
