FR – Le chanteur Didier Jans et Béatrice Dethy, auteur de ses chansons, ont présenté ensemble leur dernier album “Remettre à zéro les compteurs” à Simon Gronowski, après avoir été témoin du témoignage de Simon devant les élèves du Centre d’enseignement libre S2J, mardi 19 février 2019 à l’Institut Saint-Sépulcre , Liège, Belgique.
LIBÉRÉS – en hommage à l’amitié entre Simon Gronowski et Koenraad Tinel
L’album comprend la chanson LIBÉRÉS – réalisée en hommage à l’extraordinaire amitié entre Simon Gronowski et Koenraad Tinel – et inspirée du télé documentaire belge ‘Enfants de guerre’ (de la réalisatrice flamande Marianne Soetewey – VRT, 2012) et du livre ENFIN LIBÉRÉS (2013, Renaissance du Livre) que Simon et Koenraad ensemble fait sur leur amitié.
Didier et Béatrice ont présenté leur album à Koenraad Tinel il y a deux semaines (lien ci-dessous).

EN – Singer Didier Jans and Béatrice Dethy, author of his songs, together presented their latest album ‘Remettre à zéro les compteurs’ (Push The Reset Button) to Simon Gronowski , after witnessing Simon’s testimony for students of the S2J school center (Centre d’enseignement libre S2J) last tuesday Feb. 19 , 2019 in the Saint-Sépulcre Institute in Liège , Belgium.

The album includes the chanson ‘Liberated’ (LIBÉRÉS)- made in tribute to the extraordinary friendship between Simon Gronowski and Koenraad Tinel – was inspired by the belgian tv documentary War Children (flemish director Marianne Soetewey- VRT, 2012) , and the book Liberated at Last (ENFIN LIBÉRÉS – 2013, Renaissance du Livre) that Simon and Koenraad together made on their friendship .
Didier and Béatrice presented Koenraad Tinel their album two weeks ago (link below).

Viviane escaped 75 years ago in the womb of her pregnant mother from the Twentieth Train to Auschwitz.
Isabella Weinreb Castegnier was three-months pregnant that night of the 19th April 1943 in Belgium, when she jumped from the fast moving 20th Train heading for Auschwitz. Isabella escaped with a broken wrist and bruises all over her body, but otherwise without major injuries. Her daughter Viviane – meaning “full of life”, and named so for her will to live and hold tight in her mother’s womb – was born six months later on October 30, 1943.

① memo 20190116 ~ En Route Transport XX Stop Kuttekoven ~ Short clip 7 years ago during reportage Jan 16 , 2012 – en route the former track of Transport XX to Auschwitz , looking for the actual site Simon Gronowski jumped from that death train , a moment before the train stopped near that little town of Kuttekoven , Belgium – together with Simon Gronowski and our friends : partisan Max De Vries who then had just turned 98 years old († 2014), Béatrice, and Marc Van Roosbroeck (vzw ‘de werkgroep 10 december 2008’) .
