For a moment, the current dies away, the water is still, as the ebb and flow of the tides marry.

Through channels in the intertidal zone at the foot of the cliffs (falaises), rivulets of seawater descending back to the sea meet the first streams of the new tide.

Even valt de stroom weg, is het water stil, wanneer eb en vloed stroompjes zich verenigen.

Via geulen in het getijdengebied aan de voet van de kliffen (falaises) ontmoeten stroompjes zeewater afdalend, terug naar zee, de eerste stroompjes water van de nieuwe vloed.

Mikeno, another small vessel in the convoy, reported “We see land” on the radio around 9 nautical miles from the coast in Gaza waters, where it stopped before being intercepted (see Map).
