Waves | 20201222 ~ Update Mobile Apple HDR editing adventure using the iMovie app on iPhone 12 Pro Max.
I gave up on the idea of a template .. and focussed on using a ‘simple’ straightforward procedure for mobile branding (a title) in (HDR) videos. The current layout requires manual resizing and relocating of the title , plus custom font and no caps choice and deleting other parts of the STANDARD title. The ‘disturbing’ part is the need for analogue title placement and sizing …
Apart from this , though resizing of the text line appears not limited , the line length is limited …. So , I have to change my crediting ways …. to limit the burned in text.
NOTE : With mobile uploading just noticed that INSTAGRAM accepts HDR videos uploaded via the phone app. Music : Waves by Kyle Preston | Artlist.

Just a first quick test project using the mobile iMovie app on iPhone 12 Pro Max editing HDR video Rec. 2020 HLG on the ‘phone’, adding a music track and a title playing the entire film – mimicking my normal post over the past months where logo and title are placed in the last phase of movie export in Compressor as companion app with FCP.
This mobile iMovie export allows me to keep the HDR format. Though manipulating the title was a hassle. No time left today to reedit with a straigtened video version , and reedit the tile for music credits and license info (mircales.media). But this will do.

Kaarsjesavond Candle Night Gouda

The people of Gouda in Holland burn candles at the traditional december candle night ‘Kaarsjesavond’ all over the historic town center, where Adrie Vergeer’s Gouda street organs ‘Pansfluiter’ (Pan whistler) and ‘Het Zonnetje’ (Little Sun) play, and the kids of Music school Gouda. When the candles in the giant tree on the central market square are lit, the Carillon is played by Boudewijn Zwart, and Gouda songs (Als de kaarsjes branden… Gouda stad van …) by Desiree Coumans with John de Heij (guitar) and Nils Davidse (piano) – sound on that freezing cold (-7°C / 19°F) Friday night December 16, 2008 in front of a massive crowd at the town hall in the city center of Gouda , Holland. Sing Shoes Sweets Sinterklaas

Sinterklaas folklore St Nicolas – At bedtime Dutch children place their shoes before the chimney or the door (called ‘je schoen zetten’) – with carrots or apples for the horse of St Nicolas – and sing a lot of songs for St Nicolas and Black Pete, hoping to find some sweets in their shoe the next morning.
