Putmolen ~ Episode 3 “Smock”


Putmolen water windmill in the Aarlanderveen polder around Alphen, Holland.
This smock type windmill has a sloping tower with eight sides, topped with a cap that rotates to bring the sails into the wind. This type of windmill got its name from its resemblance to smocks worn by farmers in an earlier period.
Filmed using an Ambeo (Sennheiser – Apogee) headset for binaural sound and the iPhone X on the dutch national mill day 2018.
