Clearly there is an extreme noise problem using the ultrawide lens on this iPhone 12 Pro Max, especially in the corners.
This video was shot using the ultrawide lens right between I shot the previously posted videos ‘Wide | 20201229’ and ‘Tele | 20201230’. All filmed Dec 28th 2020 in the Green Heart of Holland in 4K 25fps, HDR mode.
Exported on the same smartphone with mobile iMovie – iOS 14.3 again with the Apple HDR format.

Waves


Just a first quick test project using the mobile iMovie app on iPhone 12 Pro Max editing HDR video Rec. 2020 HLG on the ‘phone’, adding a music track and a title playing the entire film – mimicking my normal post over the past months where logo and title are placed in the last phase of movie export in Compressor as companion app with FCP.
This mobile iMovie export allows me to keep the HDR format. Though manipulating the title was a hassle. No time left today to reedit with a straigtened video version , and reedit the tile for music credits and license info (mircales.media). But this will do.

The Bridge


Ships (the Marina here) on the Nieuwe Maas river in the centre of Rotterdam, Holland. The red painted Willemsbrug bridge is spanning the river to the Noordereiland island – here on the right. In the background the railroad lift bridge De Hef – filmed by Joris Ivens in 1928 (De Brug) – now a monument. Filmed yesterday with handheld iPhone X , using internal mic.
