Another day gone for that cluster magic mushrooms – I first filmed 2 days ago.
More greenish yellow in color now, however I noticed the standard Apple camera app I use , doesn’t record that color (because it is using automatic white balance and guessing wrong) – therefore I color-graded changing color tint and temperature a little. Tomorrow if possible I will film checking white balance. Clustered woodlover (Hypholoma fasciculare, Psilocybe fascicularis, Sulphur tuft, dutch : Gewone zwavelkop) in Alphen, Holland.

One day later and aging pretty fast that cluster magic mushrooms – I first filmed yesterday – more yellow in color now and battered this Clustered woodlover (Hypholoma fasciculare, Psilocybe fascicularis, Sulphur tuft, dutch : Gewone zwavelkop) in Alphen, Holland.

Putmolen ~ Episode 2 “Polder”


View from a window inside the Putmolen water windmill in the Aarlanderveen polder around Alphen, Holland.
This Putmolen mill drains water from the lowest part of the polder, the so-called Put (pit) – at 5.4 meter , that is 18 feet, below sea level. Putmolen ~ Episode 1 “Crystal Ball”


In the Aarlanderveen polders around Alphen in Holland, here Mill #4 of the Gang of Four Mills – also known as the Putmolen (Pit mill).
This Gang of four mills (dutch : Molenviergang) is working together to upload the polder water around the Aarlanderveen village in 4 steps – by stepped drainage via basins – all together almost 5 meters , 16 feet, higher into the Old Rhine river.
This Putmolen mill (with millers Rita and Johan Slingerland) drains the lowest part of the polder, the so-called Put (pit), where peat was still extracted when this mill was build in 1801 , after the higher part of the polder had already been milled dry. Filmed using the iPhone X on the dutch national mill day 2018.

Sea Sparkle ~ Sébastiaan Stevens plays his handpan drum on deck of the clipper Wilhelmina summer 2018 in the port of the dutch Wadden Sea island Vlieland. Sea Sparkle showed up in front of us – a tip from shipper Harriët.

A first edition of this film was published 20180725 with the title : Sébastiaan’s Sea Sparkle .
This new edition of the film (20200814) now has improved color/light correction using noise reduction with Neat Video.

Sébastiaan recently published his album Hangen op Vlieland (Hang on Vlieland) via his site sebastiaanstevens.nl .

Filmed with an iPhone X – using the Sennheiser Ambeo headset for recording binaural 3D sound. Best listen with your headphones.
